TITAN B OVERVIEW

TITAN B Display System is specialized for NON-SOLAS vessels such as small tug boats or mini yachts, that do not need all of the information of TITAN AIS, but do require a multifunctional tool to aid in the safety of the mariner and their vessel. Using the navigational data received from AIS (Automated Information System), TITAN B quickly and accurately translates the data into easy to understand information to aid the mariner in their decision making.

When connected to the AIS transponder, Receive Only, or a Class B transponder, TITAN B allows the mariner to quickly view and query other AIS equipped vessels. With this information you are able to see the other vessels course, and speed heading, along with other vital data.


SAFETY IS OUR #1 CONCERN

Like TITAN AIS, TITAN B has the mariner and their vessels safety in mind. TITAN offers major safety qualities that existing navigational equipment lack. Right now there is no way of determining what is around a corner, what is hidden by an island or even "Who is that off my port bow?" All of these questions render radar useless. By connecting to your transponder, TITAN B automatically begins to send and receive electronic data from other vessels within a large safety zone of up to sixty miles depending on your transponder. Once this information has been received, it is interpreted and displayed in a precise and meaningful manner. TITAN B allows you to very quickly gather the information that you require and displays it in a way that is best for you.

TITAN B also allows you to send and receive safety messages such as a Man Overboard (MOB) message, where information of the latitude and longitude, along with the time and date and ship information is automatically sent once you click the icon.


TITAN B DISPLAY

TITAN B has a user friendly interface that fashions itself after Windows, which reduces the learning curve for anyone that is familiar with a Windows product. The simplicity of use and screen layout puts users at ease.

TITAN B is completely flexible in the screen layout and can be easily modified by a user. TITAN B is formatted with two different background screen colors to make it easier for the mariner (Day Bright and Day Dusk).
